Association for the Defense of Human Rights  was founded on February 23, 2011 and is headquartered in Tataouine.

It is divided into two offices. The first is the administrative office, which consists of the president, the
treasurer, a general secretary, and a group of members from several fields, including professors and
administrators. The second office is the Executive Office, which consists of an Executive Director, four
departments ; civil rights, environmental, socio- economic, cultural also fundraising, Community Mannager, Project Coordinator and a Finance Director
